A democracia e o catolicismo
Será verdade que a democracia é má para os países católicos? Que é sobre regimes autoritários que eles mais se desenvolvem?
Bem, se for verdade, isso pode sugerir alguma coisa sobre a ética católica, nomeadamente se comparada com a ética protestante.
Mas eu não vou por aí.
Começo por constatar que essa "verdade" tem várias confirmações históricas tal como tem vários desmentidos.
Mas há algo de significativo no facto deste tema ter voltado a ser abordado.
